Beverly Williams Bingham's Obituary
Beverly G. Williams-Bingham, affectionately known as "Bell-Lee," "Miss Lucy," and
"Miss Right-on," graced this world for 71 beautiful years before peacefully departing on August 28, 2025, at Fairfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after courageously facing a long illness.
Born in Front Royal, Virginia, Beverly was the cherished daughter of Edward Frank and Roberta Brooks-Williams, and was lovingly raised by her foster parents, Horace and Rita Roberts. Her journey through life was one of resilience, love, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear.
After completing her education in Front Royal, Beverly embraced new opportunities
through the Job Corps program. In 1990, she ventured to Little Rock, Arkansas, where she built a life filled with purpose. Her path led her to Annapolis, Maryland in 2006, accompanied by her childhood sweetheart, William Leon Bingham, whom everyone knew as "Boo" or "Boobie." Their enduring love story culminated in marriage on February 25, 2014, a union that exemplified the phrase "two hearts, one soul." Beverly's devotion to her husband was immeasurable; they were
rarely seen apart, their love serving as an inspiration to all who knew them.
Beverly dedicated her professional life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a calling that perfectly reflected her nurturing spirit and compassionate heart. She continued this meaningful work until illness slowed her steps in 2017 but never dimmed her light.
A Life Filled with Joy and Laughter
Beverly possessed an infectious zest for life that could light up any room. Her love of dancing was legendary; she moved with a grace and enthusiasm that brought smiles to everyone around her. The kitchen was her sanctuary, equipped with every culinary tool imaginable, where she created meals that nourished both body and soul. But perhaps her greatest gift was her ability to make others smile and laugh; bringing joy to people was what truly fulfilled her heart.
Faith as Her Foundation
Beverly's strong faith in God was the cornerstone of her life. She found peace in visiting different churches and immersing herself in Gospel music. "Precious Lord, Take My Hand" held special meaning for her, and even when words became difficult, she would hum its melody with "Do, do, do... do," her spirit still singing praise.
A Legacy of Love
Beverly was preceded in death by her beloved husband William Leon Bingham in April 2025, as well as her siblings Johnnie Williams, Robert Williams, Barbara Williams, Naomi Williams, Jerry Williams, and brother-in-law James Lane.
She leaves behind a family who will forever treasure her memory: siblings Mary Ford and brother-in-law Ed Ford, William and sister-in-law Annette Williams, Eugene Williams, David Williams, and Doris Lane. Her foster brother Wayne and his wife Caroline Washington were also among her cherished family. Beverly played a special role in raising her three great-nieces, Me'Asia, Andrea, and So'Lea, pouring her love and wisdom into their lives. Her favorite nephew Andre, whom she lovingly nicknamed "Arnold Lee," held a particularly special place in her heart.
Beverly's legacy extends to numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends who were touched by her warmth, laughter, and unconditional love.
Though Beverly has joined her beloved "Boo" and family members who went before her, her spirit lives on in every smile she inspired, every life she touched as a caregiver, every dance step that brought joy, and every moment of laughter she shared. Her memory will forever be a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know this remarkable woman who lived life to the fullest and loved without measure.
