Singing your music in Kansas this week, a carol. Lovely.
Ms Angebranndt was a beautiful influence on me growing up as one of her daughter Lynn's best friends - so graceful, compassionate, joyful and giving. I'm sorry to have missed her memorial service as I would have loved to catch up with the girls! Lynn, feel free to connect on FB - Love, Reggie Cole (Brooks)
Mrs. Angebranndt was a dear friend and fellow piano teacher of my mother, Maxine Russell. Our whole family had great respect and admiration for Betsy. My father David Russell worked with her in the 1970s on the Bicentennial performance at Allen's Pond and my parents shared Betsy's love and dedication to music. The Bowie Music Teachers Association benefited greatly from her contributions and endless energy as did all the citizens of the Bowie area. I know my parents will miss her terribly and my heart breaks to see this wonderful generation of Bowie music teacher cease to be. I have many fond memories of Betsy and can still hear her voice when I think of her. My deepest sympathies to the Angebranndt daughters and family. Cecily (Russell) Ludka
Mrs. Angebranndt was my music teacher in Bowie in the early 70’s. She was great at bringing out the best in her students. I later had the pleasure of going to high school with her daughter Lynn. My condolences to Lynn and her sisters on the loss of your mother. Sean Wallace
