Benjamin Franklin Bausum Jr.'s Obituary
Benjamin Franklin Bausum, Jr. (89) passed away on December 26, 2020 under the care of Hospice of the Chesapeake after a battle with Parkinson’s complicated by COVID-19.
“Ben”, to many, was a life long Anne Arundel County resident. He was born in Annapolis and grew up on the family dairy farm “Eagle Nest Dairy.” There he cared for the cows and helped in the on site processing of numerous farm products that were delivered to homes throughout Annapolis. Ben went on to have his own small business and work full time at AAMC where he retired in 2005.
Ben is predeceased by Wilma Hill Bausum and Sallie Sutton Bausum, and his sons David Kevin Bausum and Mark A. Bausum. He is survived by his children, Gary Bausum Sr. and Laura Donaldson; sisters, Ida Russell, Miriam Howard and Virginia Hilbrich; grandsons, Gary Bausum Jr., David Donaldson, Matthew Donaldson, Luke Bausum and Scott Bausum; great granddaughter, Rose Donaldson; and extended family. He leaves behind numerous friends and will be greatly missed by all.
