Barbara Neidlinger Joy's Obituary
On January 20, 2016, Barbara Neidlinger Joy formerly of Bowie, Maryland passed away.
Barbara was born in Savannah, Georgia and grew up in Washington, DC. She was the youngest daughter of Charles Henry and Wilhelmina Neidlinger and beloved wife of the late Winslow H. Joy. Mother of Leslie Barbara Joy and Winslow H. Joy, Jr. (Rebecca). Also survived by granddaughters Leslie Maria and Mary Katheryn (Katie).
Along with many activities Barbara was a majority member of Jobs Daughters and The Eastern Star. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother (Nana), sister and aunt (7 nieces & nephews) who treasured time with her family and friends.
Family will receive relatives and friends on January 30, 2016 at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 1940 Mitchellville Road
Bowie, MD 20716 beginning at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Internment at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 W. Central Ave. Davidsonville, MD 21035 will take place at 1:00 p.m.
