Barbara Huntley's Obituary
Barbara D. Huntley, 88, of Annapolis, MD passed away September 16, 2016. She was born on December 30, 1927 to John and Elsie (Loveland) Huntley.
Barbara obtained her B.A. from Hood College, her M.A. from New York University, and her Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma. Barbara graduated in the field of language and was fluent in four languages. She worked as a bilingual secretary, interpreter, and translator. During her career years, she worked for many companies including the American Embassy in Spain, The International Development Bank and several U.S. Government Agencies. Barbara spent her time between the United States and Spain, most recently in New York City and Madrid.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters: Mary Huntley Minich and Jean Huntley Avery. She is survived by her nephews, John and David Avery.
A memorial service will be held at The Moscow Cemetery in Moscow, PA on November 7, 2016 at 11:00 am.
