Dr. Arnold Weinberg's Obituary
Arnold Frank Weinberg passed away, peacefully, on November 16, 2024, at Complete Care in Annapolis, MD, following a brief illness. He was 84 years old.
Arnold was born in Washington, D.C. on April 16, 1940 to Lee Shofnos Weinberg and Gerald Weinberg. He attended Calvin Coolidge High School, followed by Georgetown University, as well as the Georgetown University School of Dentistry from which he graduated in 1964. Arnold and Marlene were early residents of Columbia,MD, moving there in 1969 with two young children, two years after the new town started welcoming its first residents. One of Arnold’s favorite pastimes was running and walking the many paths of Columbia. An avid sports fan, Arnold had a special place in his heart for the Washington Redskins (Commanders). He also enjoyed spending time in a mountain house he and Marlene bought in the Coolfont community of Berkeley Springs, WVA and served for years on the Coolfont Association board.
Arnold is survived by his wife of almost 63 years, his son Gregg (Paula), and his four adored granddaughters Rachel, Kenna, Paige and Maren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Stacy.
A Celebration of Life is planned for later this year.
