Aris B. Offer's Obituary
Aris Brian Offer, born August 4, 1962, departed this life on Sunday, April 26, 2015 after a lengthy illness.
Aris, affectionately called “Big Man”, was born one of nine children to Apostle Richard Offer and the late Nora T. Offer (nee Watkins). He was raised in Edgewater, MD, where he attended Anne Arundel County Public Schools, receiving his GED.
During his adulthood, Aris served as a skilled and talented mason with many commercial contractors. His work can be seen in many local places. He enjoyed sports and was a dedicated Dallas Cowboy fan. He enjoyed cookouts, fishing, playing horseshoes and hanging “in the yard” with brothers, Leslie and Mark.
Aris was a member of International House of Prayer, Harwood, MD. In his earlier years, he was a member of the music team, playing the bass guitar.
He loved his family and brought lots of humor and laughter to them at family gathering and other special occasion. As “a wonderful and great father”, he was known for his gentle care, sound guidance and deep love for his daughter, Jalesia. They were very close and shared many occasions enjoying life together.
He leaves to cherish his memories: daughter, Jalesia, wife, Michele, Dad, Apostle Richard Offer (Linda), Mother-in-law, Carolyn, five brothers, Ricky, Sam, Barney, Leslie, Mark, three sisters, Essie, Lisa, Pam, a very special and loved sister-in-law, Thais, step brother, Michael, eight nephews, five nieces, six great-nephews, two great-nieces, host of aunts and uncles, many friends and love ones.
