Aris "Sandy" Holland's Obituary
Aris Sandora “Sandy” Holland was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. She was born in Edgewater and raised in Annapolis, MD, on October 29th, 1959, to the late Ralph and Vivian Holland. After 65 blessed years, on December 1st, 2024, she passed away peacefully.
Sandy received her education in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Sandy was employed at MBG as a Bus Attendant until her passing.
Those who knew Sandy would say she was a loving and stern woman. Sandy was all about family and friends. Even though she may not have been the oldest of her siblings many leaned on her for wisdom and guidance. Sandy enjoyed reading scrolling Facebook, and shopping. On any given day you could catch Sandy in a pair of Vans and wearing a Hoodie reading a book.
Sandy leaves to cherish her memories, Her children Meosha of Durham, NC, Reginald of Annapolis, MD, Ralpheal of Harrisburg, PA, MacKenzie, Ryshid, Mia, and Rashad of Baltimore, MD. Sandy’s grandchildren Nevaeh, Naishawn, Naimah, Ra’niyah, A’millian, Nyles, Anthony, Nova, Aasim, C.J., C’renity, John and Charlotte. Sandy’s siblings are Mary Holland-Walker of DC, Michael Holland and Vivian Cornish of Annapolis, MD, Sundae Holland-Watkins of Severn, MD, and Tenicko “TC” Watkins of Durham, NC.
Sister-in-law Dorcell Holland of Glen Burnie, MD. Brother-in-law Kelsey Watkins of Baltimore, MD. Sandy has a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. One God child, Menyur Simms.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Veronica Mason “Ronnie”, Thomas “Brian”, Emory “Steve”, and Reginald “T-Bone” Holland and Good Girl Friends: Carliese Boston-Scott, Jackie “Jack” Johnson, and Melissa “Lou” Crowner
