Anthony Jordan Spann-Pack's Obituary
Anthony Jordan Spann Pack, affectionately called “Bubba”, was born August 5, 2002 and departed this life on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at home after a long battle with cancer. He was the son of Theodore Asbury Pack, Sr. and Juliana Renae Spann-Hodges.
He received his education at Oak Hill Elementary and Severna Park Middle School. Though his educational journey was brief, he received several educational awards including, The Presidential Education Award, Promotional Awards, several Honor Roll Awards, and was a member of the Oak Hill Elementary Glee Club.
At an early age he decided to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and later became a full member of Asbury Town Neck Church.
Anthony was full of life and loved to share his love of cooking, WWE wrestling, and watching comedies with his family and friends. Another passion of his was listening and dancing to music. He loved to school others in a friendly game of basketball and Phase 10.
Anthony’s many lasting impressions on his family and friends include his strength, compassion, and humility. His desire to put others’ wants and needs before his own was witnessed by many. His smile will be missed because it could light up a room. Anyone around him could see that he was wise beyond his years and in a moment’s notice, his sense of humor and quick wit would keep you on your P’s & Q’s.
Anthony was a brave little boy and had the heart of a warrior. He went through so much in his young life, and he did not complain. He was not afraid of leaving this life, he was more concerned that his family would be alright and that everyone would get along.
Anthony leaves to cherish his memories his father, Theodore Pack Sr., his mother Juliana Spann-Hodges; two sisters, Jeanette Spann-Hodges and Valencia Oliver; two brothers, Nathaniel Spann-Hodges and Theodore Pack Jr. (Tatia); grandparents, Loris Spann, Marion(Archie) Spann, Catherine Hodges, and Jenny Pack; five aunts, Gladys King, Carrie Nolan (Alfred), Linda White, Jacqueline Spann, LaWanna Larson (Donald), Linda Hodges, Charlene Holland (Robert); four uncles, Louis Pack (Deborah), Robert Pack, Jr. (Shirley), Franklin Pack, Sr. (Divetta), Larry Hodges (Diane); three nieces, two nephews and a host of cousins and friends. He had four special friends, Aaron Teti, Jake Eberhardt, DeShawn Mason, Mark Antal, Jr., and Mary McCormick, six very special cousins, Anthony & Deandre Hawkins, DeShawn Mason, Quintin & Josh Odum, and Dominique Reed.
Preceding him in death were his great-grandparents, Robert Pack, Sr. & Gladys Pack.
