Anthony Pompeo Capezio's Obituary
Anthony Pompeo Capezio, 63, passed away on January 15, 2017 at his home in Annapolis, MD. He was born in Muro Lucano, Italy.
Anthony graduated from St. Mary’s High School, Anne Arundel Community College, and The Federal Police Academy in Glynco, GA. He worked as a butcher at Rookies Meat Market. Anthony recently retired from The National Security Agency after 30 years of service. He was a proud volunteer fire fighter for the Annapolis Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, avidly reading and spending time with family – especially with his niece, Heather and nephew, Tony. He was a member of The Nomad Hunting Club, the Elks Lodge, NRA, and the Sons of Italy.
Anthony is survived by his mother, Rosa Capezio; his siblings, Felicia and Robert Capezio; his niece, Heather and nephew, Tony. He is preceded in death by his father, Gerardo Capezio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Anthony’s name to the Independent Fire Company, PO Box 1884, Annapolis, MD 21404.
