Christine
I knew her as Gram. She would proudly introduce herself as “just Gram.” I only saw her once or twice a year as a child due to the distance between us, but those times were memorable. Gram was a “fun” grandparent, and I fondly remember her participating in imaginary play and adventures. She was adventurous herself and lived several years on a sailing yacht traveling the Caribbean. She was also an active member of her church. She often took church and family members into her home, providing a haven for those in need. I was also fortunate enough to establish a relationship with her during my adult years and enjoyed visiting her. She passed away just shy of her 95th birthday and was a devoted wife for nearly 6 decades! God bless! She’s always with me in my heart, but now she is in Heaven. Rest in peace, Gram.
