Anna Victoria Arellano's Obituary
Anna Victoria Arellano (nee de Castro), a resident of Arnold, MD. passed away on July 10, 2016, at the age of 89.
Anna, a native Annapolitan, graduated from Annapolis High School, and was married to Benjamin Oquealda Arellano. Anna worked at the U.S. Naval Station and retired from the State of Maryland, Department of Social Services in Annapolis.
Anna is survived by five children: Bonnie L. Sanchez of Denver, Colorado; Patricia A. Arellano, Laurie A. Marks, Benjamin M. Arellano, and Brian J. Arellano. Anna was also blessed with six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren: Lance J. Butcher of Phoenix, AZ, Christina A. Gardner of Middletown, DE, Brian J. Arellano Jr., Lindsay R. Marks, Damian L. Arellano, and Benjamin R. Arellano; Jeremy J. Gardner, Alexandra J. Gardner and Victoria J. Coldiron. Anna, also known as 'Grandmommie' and 'GGMA' was a loving wife, mother, and friend, and was instrumental in raising all of her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.
Anna also has two younger sisters in Florida, Diane Ponciano and Anita Miller, and is survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members, here in the United States, the Philippines and Australia.
