Andy Williams' Obituary
Forrest Andrew Williams (54) of Annapolis, MD passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 28, 2014. He was affectionately known as “Andy” by his friends and family. Andy was born on Dec 9, 1959 in Honolulu, HI. As the son of an Air Force service member, Andy grew up in Germany; Fort Meade; Hampton, Virginia; and Andrews Air Force Base. In 1977, Andy graduated from Central Senior High in Seat Pleasant, MD.
Andy had a great love for life like no other. The number one thing always to Andy was his family. He is survived by his daughter, Chelsea Williams; mother, Doris Williams; sisters, Sandra K. Smith (Steven) and Melissa Pickens (Tim); two nephews, Joseph Pickens (Stephanie) and Jimmy Smith (Taryn); and two nieces, Christina Pickens-Medford (Mark) and Tammy Ellis (Cory). He has now been reunited with his father, Ronald Williams in Heaven.
Andy is also survived by so many friends that it would be impossible to try and name them all. Some of Andy’s many passions were the following: cooking on his grill for his friends and family, watching NASCAR, riding his motorcycle, boating, and calling his friends to just say I love you!
Andy worked for Amtrak for over twenty years and will surely be missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to one of the following charities: Project Hope (PO Box 287, Hazard, KY 41702); The Thomas H. Redmiles Foundation (1260 Village Lake DR, Davidsonville, MD 21035); and Eastern Shore Baptist Church (119 Station Lane, Grasonville, MD 21638).
A funeral service will be held at Lasting Tributes Cremation & Funeral Care (814 Bestgate RD, Annapolis, MD) on Thursday, July 3rd at 4pm. A remembrance gathering will follow from 5 – 8 PM. The family invites all guests to bring a favorite photo of Andy to be shared.
My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
