Andrea Renee Dove's Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Andrea Dove.
Andrea Dove of Glen Burnie, MD peacefully passed on November 26, 2025 at the age of 63. She was affectionately known as Niney.
Andrea was born in Annapolis, MD on December 19, 1961 to the late Georgianna Butler and Clagiet Dove, Jr.
Andrea attended Anne Arundel County Public Schools and graduated from Annapolis Senior High School in 1980. In 1997 Andrea received her Bachelor of Arts in Administration Degree from Sojourner-Douglass College.
She had a career with the District Court of Maryland where she worked for multiple departments including their Operations Department and for the Chief Judge. Andrea worked for the District Court of Maryland Commissioners Headquarters Office until her retirement.
Andrea loved spending time with her daughter, grandson, family and friends. She enjoyed shopping, listening to music and cooking. She was very creative and had a passion for decorating and sewing.
Andrea was preceded in death by her parents Georgianna Butler and Clagiet Dove, Jr; grandparents, Eleanor (Diggs) Butler and Harry N. Butler; Susie and Clagiet Dove, Sr; four aunts, Carolyn "Carol" Butler Spence, Eleanor "Gina" Bishop, Carole McGowans and Ellen Gordon.
Andrea leaves her memories to be cherished by her loving and devoted daughter Latifa Stevens (Craig); two sisters, Lolita and Iris Dove; grandson, Cameron Stevens; four aunts, Sandra Williams (Robert), Joyce Stone, Celeste Dove-McPherson (Crawford) and Lauren Dove; four nieces, Aiesha Butler, Taneisha Dove, Tatyana Dove and Shakera Chapman; four nephews, Terrance Hutton, Terriko Franklin, Shomar Dove, Airion Olney and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 10 at Lasting Tributes from 10 am until the beginning of her funeral service at 11 am. For those who are unable to attend, services will be livestreamed. Interment will follow at Bestgate Memorial Park.
