Amber Ann Williamson's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Amber Ann Williamson of Annapolis, Maryland on August 4th, 2023, at Anne Arundel Medical Center at the young age of 50.
Amber was born in Washington, DC on September 8th, 1972. She graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School and attended Prince George’s Community College. She worked as a Settlement Agent with Sage Title Group in Annapolis and she was a notary public.
Amber was fun, beautiful, and free-spirited. Amber loved to travel to tropical locations and especially loved the beach. She loved music, drawing and was an accomplished seamstress. Amber’s love of animals lead her to be a pet sitter and dog walker for many years and her beloved dog, Gigi was her favorite loyal companion.
Grieving Amber’s loss is her mother, Olivia (Libby) Williamson and her brothers and sisters-in-law Richard (Jamie Cunningham Sapanara), Sandy (Paula), Daniel (Michelle) and Andrew (Andrea) along with her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Amber is predeceased by her father, Harold Richardson Williamson and her brother, Stephen Mattingly.
To honor Amber’s memory, we are hosting a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at Lasting Tributes Funeral Home on Bestgate Road in Annapolis, Maryland. There will be an Open House Gathering from 2-4pm followed by a Service at 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice or to Hospice of Anne Arundel County as Amber was active in fundraising for the Hospice.
