Alexander Michael Stevens' Obituary
Alexander Michael Stevens, was Born on July 18, 1999 to Anthony Michael Stevens and Kelly Lynn Stevens (Rork). He was the Blessing of God in their union and the second son born to the newly young, hopeful and engaging couple. Alex, Just born 11 months after older Brother William, was a delight, A BEAUTIFUL, Vibrant, truly bubbly- Ball of Joy. He and His brother not only looked like twins, but were also as inseparable as a pair of Siamese could be. They lived, ate, grew, Learned, developed, shared, Fought and competed together, as well as encouraged, supported, cooperated and Loved one another, and from those early years, well Nourished, Supported, and Maintained in Love, with Boundaries, by their parents, Kelly and Anthony, That set the tone of Alex’s Generous, thoughtful, considerate, and delicate heart.
Over the years Alex left a similar and lasting impression on everyone; whether it was in his competitive mood, as in Tae Kwon Do and various other forms of martial arts he participated and practiced in, or if it was in His cautious and careful mode, as in Motocross riding, everyone who participated and interacted with him, knew and saw his Care, for himself and others, His Caution. He was viewed as terrific person and will be greatly missed by more than any of us, (His Family, His Friends, and His Companions) will ever know individually. But as we gather here collectively, we can see, witness and be encouraged and assured, that Alex, touched many souls, those seen and any not, for He was very caring, kind, generous and demanding person. Those, just a few characteristics and traits of Alex’s are just some of the reasons He touched so many, in various and joyful ways. We must know that His life, while short, was fulfilled, according to His Families belief in God, whom states and gives Three things to All Souls, in varying quantities. Those being, Time, Talents and treasures. Alex’s time was fulfilled, He used All of His Ordained Talents and Treasures, both given and earned to serve and share, Hence so many of us Gather to Remember and Celebrate His Gift, His Blessing, His Life, left upon us.
In Alex's s early years, he attended grade school at Jones elementary; in Severna Park, Md. All of his schooling was consistent in the local Severna Park community in which He and His family lived and served in. Alex made and established many life long friends and relationships in elementary school, all of whom and which he shared with his family, he was so blessed and privileged to watch all the kids grow, mature, develop and become young adults. He then attended Severna Park Middle further growing , and learning and He graduated from Severna Park High School. He was intending on going to college, really considering Business, That young Entrepreneurial spirit but He also was interested in Cooking, Heating and Air as well as Animals.
He loved with his entire being, whether it was family, friends or his animals. He always cared for other people, even before himself. He'd bring home kids that needed help, (or so he thought) as well as animals. He liked animals so much, that one of his goals was to be a veterinarian.
One person said that Alex was super self-assured and extremely confident in himself that he gave confidence and encouragement to others.
Alex was a fun loving boy. He always cared and fought hard for the handicapped and challenged individuals as well. When he was in school, it gave him much satisfaction to volunteer assisting others, with limitations.
As we know, Alex was an entrepreneur, from an early age, selling small bags of treats at school to his friends, as well as eating them. Like many of us did, but he truly liked to work for his money. He earned it. Managed it well and knew the value in Saving, but he loved money and did not want to be broke.... Perhaps that’s why he saved. Or just just didn’t want to much other than to give, share and accept affection, as many of us do.
His smile was infectious. He lite up a room. His dad called Him MC Lips, for Alex liked to Rap. He had a smile. Alex cared for the elderly and children. He loved to play and would keep his little cousins entertained. Charlie, Christian, Adriana and all the other cousins enjoyed his personality and insight. He liked to play jokes on people , as well. His was the ring leader in many instances but always said it wasn’t me, with that smile.
From an early age he liked to bake cookies and eat them. He looked forward to the holidays and didn't mind preparation activities. He was even considering Culinary Arts schooling, which his dad encouraged and hope for, so he could cook for Him.
Alex was artistically talented and loved music. He had a composition book he carried with him and would write his lyrics when the thoughts came into his mind. He was going to be a star... And surely already was and is, to His family, friends and those whom he spiritually touched in unknown ways.
Alex and his brother were tied at the hip. He loved his brother deeply, as well as his parents, grandparents and family. He was more than just a loveable person, He was and Is, Alex Stevens, Our Beloved Son, Friend and Companion.. Whom will be cherished, adored and missed only in memory but forever kept with in our heart and soul.
