Alexander "Lonnie" Lee Jr.'s Obituary
Alexander Lonnie Lee, Jr. 50, returned to his heavenly home on March 19, 2022, after a strong fight with rectal cancer. He remained a brave and strong man, even throughout his last days. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.
Lonnie was blessed with a loving family. He was born at St. Agnes Hospital and raised in Glen Burnie and attended Glen Burnie High School. Lonnie had been living in North Carolina for many years until he came back to Maryland in 2019. He meant his girlfriend Denise. We spent many of our weekends taking day trips and just enjoyed our time being together. Lonnie had many hobbies like horseback riding, shopping, cooking, and swimming. His passion was taking in animals and loving them.
Lonnie was everyone’s friend. He loved his job as a Maintenance Director working for Senior Living Center. He was kind and soft-spoken, and always had time to answer a question or help solve a problem, no matter how small. He was a hard worker at whatever he did and took pride in his work. He is dearly missed by his loved ones and friends.
Lonnie is survived by his girlfriend, Denise Boebert, and his son Alex (Isis his wife) and stepson Matthew. Along with his dad Alexander Lonnie Lee, Sr, and brother Duane Nowakowski and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Christine Lee and grandparents Mary Gertrude and Roy Benjamin Lee, Sr. and Ella James and Dennis Leonard Nowakowski.
