Because of covid I feel like I've missed so many people that I cared and shared so much with. I completely missed Margarets. Hope you are all doing well despite your sadness. O Anne, our hearts are sad for you and the girls, having to say farewell to the love of your life. The "waters" he has sailed are many as are the treasured memories shared throughout the journey. The phrase, living life to the fullest, comes to mind when I think of AL. I recall how proud Al was to "show off" his sailing, taking Tony &I out one beautiful day. You & Al did everything you could think of to distract me from my new found sea sickness....to no avail. Still..we DID make an entry into our memory banks that day.!
Treasured also are the times enjoyed through our dental connection. Our guys were born to serve others ...in their offices, their societies, their churches as well as in our families and for that, we will be forever grateful.
The Beardsley Castle last week was the setting for our fam from NY/NH /Fl/SC to gather in celebration of Tony becoming an octogenarian. we are well.
Trusting the dear Lord for the grace you need to navigate the new waters.

I'm sorry to hear of the death of Dr. Altongy whom I will never forget as he did my son's braces and had a tree planted in his name when he died. Kristen was one of my favorite students who confided in me, knowing her life would be shortened by her disease. We talked often and went for coffee; she was a total joy. Concerned about how her parents and sisters would feel when she died, she asked me to reassure them. I know how their hearts were broken when she passed but I believe love never dies and that she was there to help her Dad's transition. My heart goes out to all of you as I know we grieve in waves and grief knows no time limit but as some time passes, beautiful memories become treasures. In time I know "signs" appear from those we loved and lost - believe them and cherish them. Louise White
