Alan Ames Booty's Obituary
Alan Ames Booty of Annapolis, MD died at his home on August 23, 2011. He was 64.
Alan was born on August 29, 1946 in College Park, MD. He was the beloved life partner of Deborah Ross, making their home together in Annapolis, MD. His sudden departure ended his extensive 33 year career with Motorola Solutions, Inc. as a sales/pre sales business manager. He proudly and honorably served as a United States Marine in the Vietnam Campaign. Alan was a good man and will be deeply missed by all.
In addition to his life partner Deborah, he is survived by his two daughters, Michelle Demers and husband Jerry of Davidson, NC and D. Kristen Booty of Annapolis, MD; their mother, Carol Booty of Annapolis, MD and his granddaughters, Molly and Maddie Demers.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 29, 2011 between 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8pm at Lasting Tributes Cremation and Funeral Care, P.A. 814 Bestgate Rd. Annapolis, MD 21401. A time of remembrance will be held at 7pm that evening at the funeral home.
A veterans committal ceremony will take place at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 10am.
