I knew Alan before I knew AB because Alan was my friend Leslie's brother, and we were just annoying kids. Then we grew up (allegedly) and after a time I got to know AB, and the ever-present mischievous grin. So under one moniker or another, I count myself fortunate to have spent time and shared stories, make-you-hold-your-gut laughs, and of course beers, with AB.

My heart goes out to the family, the extended family, the Glen Dale family, and of course to Roseanne, who I hope one day to meet. AB, you're missed more than you know . . .

Alan was just a little tike when I married his Uncle Steve and he always had that big grin on his face then as he has in this picture‼️ 👏. If you knew AB and Rosie like I did you wouldn’t wonder why he always had that infernal grin on his face. He battled his medical issues with the same intensity and passion that he attacked life with. I had the good fortune to have know this friend for 53 of my 59 years on this planet. Swing away, AB. Those of us who knew you had fuller better lives because we did.

I honestly never got to meet Alan but Roseann and I became friends living in the same apartment complex. He sounded like a wonderful man and husband. Everyone says he not suffering any longer so I’m happy to hear that. Roseanne is going for surgery soon herself. I’m sure Alan will keep a good eye on her to make sure it’s successful. It’s not easy to find the right guy but Roseanne it sounded like you met your soulmate and best friend. Stay strong
