Geez - what can you say about Michael John Murphy aka Mike Murphy aka Mr Murphy aka Mike aka Murph - aka Mumbles Murph - he is the type of man that books are based on and songs are written about. A Marine, Cop, Detective, bar owner, bartender, brother, husband, father, grandfather and in his spare time ...a phenomenal friend - if you are reading this you knew him and you are a better person for having known him - I know I am. Murph was there when the sun was bright and things were great for the class of 93 - and when we took a loss and needed a hand Murph took the loss with us and was there to help us. Many happy times with Mike when our son Paul and daughter Mary Beth attended Loyola College. Murph made us so welcome at our kids favorite bar/restaurant.

Murph, my favorite bartender ever, served me many beers for the past nine years at Scotty's Tavern in West Fenwick Island.
Inevitably he would talk about his grandchildren with that Irish twinkle in his eye. He loved them very much.
He will be sorely missed by me and the entire Scotty,s family.
