I remember Marty from Kenmore East High School in the late 1970s. He was on the quiet side but was a good guy. The last time I ran into him was at a Convenient Store in the early 90s; he was living in an apt. on Eggert Rd. Looks like he got out of Buffalo and did well. RIP.

We are so thankful that Marty and Bruce founded Brumar Gardens near our neighborhood. Together Marty and Bruce have created a garden center that is a joy to visit. We will all greatly miss Marty's presence there--his knowledge, wonderful warm smile, and ready helpfulness We are also grateful for his service to our country in the US Navy.

We were saddened to receive the call from Polly that Marty had passed. He was the best man in our wedding in 1993 and we had lost touch with him over the years as time and distance can sometimes do. We will always remember his sly sense of humor and genuine friendship, especially in their younger years in Buffalo. We send our sympathy to all of you grieving this loss, Nick & Lisa Padovano
