There are so many good memories of Amber from high school and my early twenties, too many to count. I’ll never forget:
- riding in her red Toyota Celica tailing 6 inches behind the car in front of us
- spending countless leisurely hours on the beach working for that savage tan that she always had and no one else could quite get
- tanning our faces with baby oil and iodine on your back deck, then having sliced tomatoes with salt in the kitchen with Buster sniffing around our feet
-her introducing me to potstickers (she loved potstickers)
-her crazy boxer puppy lunging at me unannounced in her apartment in Adam’s Morgan
-our unforgettable trip to California that included everything from Hollywood night clubs, a reggae concert in the redwood forest in Humboldt County and playing with a wild pack of dogs on a Mexican beach
- her amazing sense of humor and hilarious rhymes that would pop up out of nowhere like this one she said after a women shoved us in a bar. “Big body loves to party, big butt loves to strut.”
Amber was a kind, funny, friendly, adventurous person who was also stunningly gorgeous. She was truly beautiful inside and out.
I’ll miss you dear friend. Your memory will live on in my heart until I meet up with you on the other side. You were one of a kind. I’m so grateful and fortunate to have had you in my life. I miss you twirly, whirly, girly. Love- Tricia
