Christy, I'm so terribly sorry for all that you and your family have lost. Your Mom was a joy to be around the few times I was fortunate enough to meet her.
Aunt Jean was always so kind and down to Earth. She was always interested in what was going on in my life. I have only had the blessing to interact with her a handful of times, but each and every time, she lit up the room with her joy. She was especially interested in Fern. She was very excited to see her when she was 2 (we were visiting from Guam), as she was patiently waiting for grandchildren of her own. Even though she had only seen Fern once until last summer, she always sent her a birthday and Christmas gift every year. I am so sorry for your loss. My sweet Auntie Jeana so loving and kind. Highlight of my childhood holidays. Watching her and my dad play the piano together whether at home or at church was an inspiration to me. She loved me through it all, the good, and the bad. She will still be part of our lives and holiday festivities by us remembering her fun and generous spirit. Love you Aunt Jeana!

I remember Kattrin's joy in speaking about her Grandma and her elation and enthusiastic run to the classroom door on the special occassions when Grandma came to pick Kattrin up at school. Little ones know well who loves them best and Kattrin was truly blessed by her Grandma. My heart goes out to all who knew this remarkable woman who is surely terribly missed and fondly remembered.

A tribute to a dear friend!
Jean I remember your sweet smile and positive attitude towards all people.
I will cherish the times we had as our friendship developed. There were lunches we shared with the 4 of us after church, dinners at each other houses, and some outings we shared in camping, and visits together in our homes.
You were a dear friend to talk with and give encouragement, which we did a number of times. Even into early hours of the morning.
To all of the immediate Stanlake family know that Jean was cherished by us and will be greatly missed. We want to continue the friendship with all of you and Jean will always have a special place in our hearts.
