William E Stuchbery

July 25, 1935 - May 2, 2022

Williams E. Stuchbery, Sr., know to friends as Bill, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 2nd at Sunrise Senior Living in Annapolis, Maryland. He was loved and loving to his last day and will forever be in the hearts of his family and friends. Bill graduated from Northwestern High School in Hyattsville, Maryland and went on to serve his country in the United States Navy. He began his career in the federal government working for the Department of Agriculture, moved to Consumer Product Safety Commission, and finished his distinguished career as the Deputy Director of the Office of Administration at the United States International Trade Commission. Bill went on to enjoy many years of golfing and traveling throughout the US and Europe with friends and family during his retirement. Bill became interested in woodworking as hobby and loved making pieces of furniture for his children and grandchildren along with helping neighbors. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister; and wife Barbara Jean Stuchbery. Bill will always be in the hearts of his children: William (Butch) E. Stuchbery, Jr., Sandra (Sissy) Romanek (Scott), Kathleen (Kathy) Martinez, Bernadette (Berna) Yamasaki (Charles); his grandchildren: Alyssa Murchake, Zachary Romanek, Paige Romanek, Christopher Yamasaki, Alayna Martinez, Colleen Yamasaki; great grandchild; Caroline Brooke Murchake; his niece Karen Lawrence and nephews Michael James and Robert James; Jacqueline Stuchbery and Hedi Burd Stuchbery. The family would like to thank the staff of Sunrise Senior Living and Heartland Hospice for their kind and loving care. In lieu of flowers donation to the National Kidney Foundation https://www.kidney.org/ are greatly appreciated.
