Sherman Lovell Neal passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. He was born on May 17, 1937 to the late Jessie M. and Samuel A. Neal. He was blessed with 52 years of marriage to his devoted wife, Carrie, and together they had four children that they raised with loved and patience, Clyde, Alonzo, Karen, and Justine. He enjoyed time with his family playing baseball, cards, and drinking Coca-Cola. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 48 years and enjoyed going into the ministry, especially with his wife, Carrie. He had a loving, caring, giving heart and showed interest in others even in his failing health. He lived his life to the fullest taking care of and loving his family and serving his God. Sherman was so much fun to be around, just full of good times and laughter. His sense of humor and quick wit endeared him to many. Sherman will forever be in the memory of his loving wife, Carrie V. Neal; four children, Clyde L. Neal, Alonzo F. Neal, Karen D. Hicks (Matthew), and Justine Maynard (Vincent); daughter-in-law, Nellie Sharp-Neal; grandchildren, Kiera D. Neal, Jamar R. Timmons (Sunny), Myesha K. Nicholas (Monel), Jamiera V. Maynard, Vincent L. Maynard, Jr., Davon Odems, Breauna Maynard, and Keyerra Maynard; great-grandchildren, Tyler J. Timmons, Summer K. Timmons, Mya J. Nichols, Kingston, Royal, Raine, Santana and Skylar; brothers, James Neal, Samuel Neal, and William Neal; sisters, Theresa Roy, Rosetta Dorsey, Charlotte Green, Jessie Bowie, Ruth Collins, Helen Crowner, and Mary Parker; and many other relatives and friends that loved him and will miss him
