Linda Novella Bradford affectionately known as “Nin” and “Mama Nin” was born November 3, 1942 in Davidsonville, Maryland to the late Esther Smith (Johnson) and the late John Davis. She was educated at Bates High School in Annapolis, Maryland. Linda was employed at Mazie’s and Jazzie J’s Hair Salons. She served faithfully as a member of American Legion and Elks Lodge for many years. Linda was a Cosmetologist and enjoyed dancing, bingo, travelling, and cooking in her leisure time. Linda was a blessing to all who came into her presence. Linda resided in Annapolis, Maryland the majority of her life and was adored by all who knew her. She was also preceded in death by her devoted life partner Julius “Frizzy” Brown, stepfather James Smith Sr., brother Paul Davis, son Anthony Bradford, grandson Darris Wilkerson, granddaughter Shemia Stubbs, niece Veronica Forrester, nephew Ernest Brooks, great niece Monifa Stansbury, stepsister Geraldine Smith, and stepbrother Ronald Smith. Linda leaves to cherish her memory sons Lydell Bradford (wife Alvernita), Rodney Bradford Sr. (wife Ursula), daughters Jenell Bradford, Rochelle Bradford, and Jewel (Bradford) Duncan (husband Norman); stepdaughter Terrie Brown, stepson Marlin Brown, goddaughter Dayonna Parker and surrogate daughter/dedicated caregiver Sheila Stokeling, sister Victoria Brooks, brothers John Hall, Melvin Powell, Arthur Powell (wife Ann), and Gilbert Davis; stepbrothers, Larry Smith (wife Lynn), James “Chip” Smith Jr., Phillip Smith, Kevin Smith (wife Blair), Dwayne Smith, Al Smith, and Derrick Smith. Beloved grandchildren David Wilkerson Jr., Edelvis Hayes Jr. Anthony Bradford Jr., Devin Montague, Jonathan Dean II, Herschel Carter Sr., Rodney Bradford Jr., Sherika Norris, Tierra Bradford, Breonna Green (husband Demarko), and Brittany Bradford. Treasured great grandchildren Daisyah Wilkerson, Kaden Wilkerson, Elijah Wilkerson, Dayla Wilkerson, Amijae Hayes, Kamora Hayes, Jamir Hayes, Amani Boston, Amari Green, Taylor Wilson, Herschel Carter Jr., Trinity Dean, Zylynn Dean, Aniyah Bradford, Averie Bradford, Anthony Bradford III, and Alijah Bradford. Aunt Jeanette Davis, devoted niece Pamela Powell-Kerrick, devoted friends Ruby Smith, Martini Bean, and Linda Coates as well as a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
