Obituary for Deborah Anne Lynch

Deborah Anne Lynch 58, formerly of Arnold, was called to heaven on Thursday September 6, 2018, from the comfort of her home.

Deborah, known as Debi to friends and family, was born on February 2, 1960 in Washington, DC to Luther and Marion Kelly Baublitz.

On May 12, 1984, Debi married the love of her life, John Edward Lynch. They lovingly raised their two children together, Travis and Lauren.

Debi's charitable nature could be felt through her twenty-five years as the accountant for Prevent Child Abuse Maryland (PACA) and her work and active involvement in her church, St. John's the Evangelist.

In her spare time, Debi enjoyed horseback riding at a young age, motorcycle touring and boating with John, appreciating great music and art, and being outside tending to her plants, and loving nature and the many birds she eyed from her deck each day. Debi's greatest joy in life was caring for her family and cooking meals to bring everyone together. Everyone was welcomed to her home. The dear friends, Debi called her “Angels,” the loving Hospice staff who supported her, and who Debi embraced with her gratitude.

Indeed, She was known for being loving, selfless, extremely spiritual, gifted, and having a fighting Irish strength that earned her the nickname, “Celtic Warrior Princess.”

Debi is survived by her loving husband John, son Travis and Christine Lynch and granddaughter Aurora Lynch of Charleston, SC, and daughter Lauren Lynch of Arnold, sister Gloria and David Goldfaden of Mount Dora, Florida and her niece Shana Filter and nephews, Shawn, Stefan, Simon and Michael Goldfaden.

She is preceded in death by her parents Luther and Marion Kelly Baublitz.

Friends are invited to call Monday September 10th from 6 to 8 PM at Lasting Tributes Cremation and Funeral Care, 814 Bestgate Road, Annapolis, MD 21401. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 am Tuesday, September 11th at St. John's the Evangelist Church, 689 Richie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146 with burial to follow at Bestgate Memorial Park and a “Celebration of Life” reception two blocks away at the Admiral Reach Community Clubhouse, 601 Admiral Drive (left after entering the parking lot).
