Betty Mae (Johnson) Pringle, gained her wings on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at Medstar Harbor Hospital surrounded by family and friends. She was born on June 16, 1939, in Annapolis, Maryland to the late Phillip & Elizabeth Johnson. Betty Mae attended Stanton Elementary School and Wiley Bates High School, She was employed by Crownsville State hospital where she worked as a Nursing Assistant. Betty moved to Baltimore, Maryland in 1965 to further her education in Baltimore, Maryland where she received her GED. She furthered her education and received her certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant; she worked at South Baltimore General Hospital as a Nurse’s Assistant for 18 years. Betty decided to make a career change after serving as a Nurse. She started a new career at the War Memorial building at Baltimore City Government where she retired in 2007. Betty was a member of Community Baptist Church of Cherry Hill in Baltimore, Maryland; In December 2002 she was appointed as Deaconess Betty Pringle. Then she attended her daughter church, God Can Do Anything but Fail Ministries in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Preceded in death daughter Late Carolyn Pringle, leave to cherish two daughters, Apostle Angela R. Pringle and Michelle Pringle Marek. (1) Son-In-Law Late James (Jim) Marek (4) Grandchildren Marvin Taylor, Sherice Gregg, Towana Jackson, and Larry Branch. (1) Great granddaughter Prosper Gibson-Hatten. She also leaves to mourn her siblings Louise Johnson, Joann Parker, Phillip Johnson, Jack Johnson, James Johnson, Late Lavinia Johnson, and Late Elizabeth Grey all of Annapolis, Maryland. (4) Sister-In-Laws Jean Johnson, Joyce Johnson, Suzanne Johnson, and Mary Johnson (1) Brother-In-Law Joseph Parker, (2) Cousins Melvin Clark and William Tongue (13) nieces, (7) nephews and several great-nieces and nephews. Devoted friends Deaconess Rose Faulcon of Baltimore, Catherine James of Baltimore, Beverly Bethune of California; Late Deaconess Carolyn Ward and Late Ruth James of Baltimore.
