Barry Isidore Flieder

December 8, 1937 - January 10, 2022

Barry Isidore Flieder, 84, of Odenton, Maryland, passed away on January 10, 2022. Son of Dorothy and Morris Flieder, born December 8, 1937 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Barry graduated from Lawrence High School. He later attended Lowell Tech, where he received Bachelor's and Master's degrees in physics. Physics was always Barry's greatest interest. His thirst for knowledge would continue to grow throughout his entire life. A loving and caring father and husband, Barry is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Dede Flieder, daughter Debbie Flieder and son Michael Flieder. Barry is also survived by his granddaughter Kacey Flieder, grandsons Joshua and Zackary Flieder, great grandson Leo, and ex wife Judith Flieder. Barry was known for his love of tennis where he was a very fierce competitor. He was a top ranked tennis player in the greater Lawrence area, playing in many tournaments and bringing home countless trophies. He also had a great love of music and played piano for 31 years. Barry also loved to swim, play pool, and bridge. A memorial gathering will take place at Lasting Tributes, located at 814 Bestgate Road in Annapolis, on Sunday, February 20, 2022, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
