I just learned of Stuey's death and I am deeply saddened at the news! I was in Ireland
when he died so I am sorry that I wasn't here to share your sorrow. I only knew Stu
from the few times we got together for Mah Jongg, but I immediately was drawn to his
kindness and pleasant personality. I know he is at peace now and I am sorry that I
never had an opportunity to know him better. If you feel like calling me, Peggy, please

We will always remember our fun times at the pool floating (on our noddles) and talking with Stu each summer. Stu was a genuine, kind, and caring man. He was always engaged in great conversations and never complained. He truly appeared to love his life with Peggy and his pups. Our summers will never be the same without Stu. His smile and freindship will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

I first met Stu when I was assigned to work with him at IBM in 1984/85. He was a good friend and a funny man. I can vividly recall a picture he kept on his desk of the rear-end of an Ape.
Stu, Bob Clemens and I would go to lunch together and have weekly dinner outings.
Natalie and I did not attend his wedding ceremony to Peggy, but we attended a reception held later where we met Peggy.
Stu was one of the few IBM colleagues with whom I kept in touch over the years. I am glad I got the opportunity to talk to him at the beginning of September. I was hoping to see him but he was gone before I got the chance to get to Annapolis.
We will miss him, but at least the pain is gone.Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Peggy and you have our deepest sympathy. Hope to see you soon.

I will remember Stuart as one of the world's nice gentlemen who was always quick with a smile, a big wave and a funny comment.
Don and I are saddened that he lost his valiant struggle and so sorry for your loss, Peggy. We hope that your happy memories will help ease your pain.

Stuey was a real treasure. His smile was ever present right to the end. We shared good times and not so good times but we always shared them. I miss him and am so sorry that he suffered so. He was very brave and an amazing fighter. He loved life and he so loved me. I am so, so grateful for that. Rest in peace, Stuey. pm
Stu and I worked together at IBM. He also was active with the Quarter Century Club at IBM which a few years ago passed onto me. He was a good employee and we shared some good times together. I will keep him in my prayers.
