When I think of traits that would describe my beautiful niece Kaelah, there are many that come to my mind: Beautiful, Exceptional, Intelligent, Colorful (funny), Selfless, Ambitious, and Focused, (just to name a handful). What I most admired about her is her Strength, Courage, and Drive. In all the years that I've had the privilege of knowing her, I've never ever once heard her utter the words, "Why me?", despite some of the health challenges that she endured. She never let anything prevent her from reaching her stars. Her mantra had always been, "What's next?" [on her long list of goals]. God gave us 18 years of His gift in Kaelah Nicole Somerville. My Kaelah-Boo, I will forever love and miss you immensely!

My name is Cheri and I worked with Kaelah......It is with my deepest and heartfelt sympathy that I write this to Kaelah's family. I am in shock and disbelief that Kealah's is gone that I will not see her beautiful smile or hear her witty humor, see her BIG hoop earrings or her fuzzy hair boots. Always wondering what she will look like when she comes into the salon. Will she have her hair natural, curled, long extensions, braids, a wig, scarf or a hat on. She was always dressed so cute and stylish. I will miss her beautiful soul, how smart she was, how talented she was, her compassionate heart, her willingness with our clients, her wittiness, her smile and even the scuffing of her feet.... all in all I will miss " her awesomeness"! I cannot even begin to understand the pain and sorrow your family must be feeling but please know you are not alone I/we feel it too. Kaelah's has been a part of our salon family for two years this month and like a daughter to me. I might not have known all the little details about her life but what I did know is that she was loving, caring, thoughtful, smart, silly, talented, beautiful and ambitious. I am blessed because she came into my life (all of our lives at Hair Expressions Salon) she has made a difference, our lives will forever be changed for the better just by knowing her. Thank you for sharing her with us. May God Bless you all and surround you with his love now and in the days to come. I love you Kaelah and will miss you dearly ❤️❌⭕
