I will miss Charlene at AAMC as a Patient Family Advisor. I remember the many times I've met and talked to Charlene and have ended our conversation with a hug and / or a smile. I thank God for the opportunity of knowing Charlene she is a shining star.
I was so lucky to have Charlene as a friend. We liked to talk about politics, our work at the hospital together and just life. She was so smart, funny and sweet. I took her to lunch a few years ago for her birthday and we had a great time talking and giggling. I will miss her as a friend and as a gift to the world with her bright spirit and zest for life, even in the midst of constant challenges with the cancer she battled. Charlene will never be forgotten and we were all so lucky to have her in our lives.
