A Memorial Service, with an opportunity to share memories, will be held during the Celebration of Life gathering from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM.

Patricia Anne Christy, of Annapolis, Maryland, beloved wife of Larry and devoted mother to Michelle, passed away peacefully at home on March 20, 2018. She was born on November 16, 1946, the daughter of Lorraine and Tom Adam of Chicago and Ft. Wayne. She graduated from the University of Dayton in 1968 and began her career in medicine in hospital labs, moving to research and finishing her career as a computer specialist.

Pat was a warm and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a very patient person and would always take the time to talk, listen, laugh and offer advice. Those closest to her describe her as vibrant, generous, inclusive, compassionate, trustworthy, loyal and thoughtful.

A true love story, Pat and Larry met in 1964 as biology lab partners at the University of Dayton. Because of their mutual love and respect, their relationship has been an inspiration to many. She was a loving daughter and sister. She cherished her relationship with her family and was a very loyal friend to all.

Pat lived life well and to the fullest every day, imparting her warmth and loving care to everyone around her. She loved the Beatles and jazz, raced sailboats for over 30 years, and participated in race management at the Annapolis Yacht Club. She enjoyed cruising on their sailboat and later their powerboat. Her favorite cruising destinations included the many creeks and small towns on Chesapeake Bay, Maine, Nantucket, Block Island, Montauk and Cape May. She enjoyed the beach, golf, skiing and was always reading a good book. She was a quiet leader and motivator among her circle of friends, as well as her community that she loved so dearly.

Pat is survived by her husband, Larry, daughter Michelle and son-in-law Brian Sprick of St. Louis, Missouri, grandchildren Kyle and Jacob Bernstein, Abigail and Jake Sprick; brother, Thomas, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at Lasting Tributes, located at 814 Bestgate Road, in Annapolis, Maryland on April 14th between the hours of 1 and 4 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake or the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
